Before I get into this one, I WILL say that I don’t think it was the kindest act on the owner’s behalf to lock the kitten in with two dogs who clearly don’t like it’s company. In fact, I think it’s downright irresponsible and mean. But, given that all three seem to come out of it mentally unscathed, I’m happy enough to share this with you today 🙂
We’ve all heard of “Little Dog Syndrome”, right? You know, where the smallest dogs make the biggest noise/have the biggest bite as though to compensate for their small size? (Picture your atypical roll of the eyes when a guy revs his souped-up engine at the lights. Get your pinky fingers ready … You see where I’m going, don’t you? LOL. Well, it seems to be the same in the dog world!)
Well, most of us have met at least ONE Pug dog in our lives. They’re cute(ish). They’re little. They have piggy tails. They have excess rolls of skin. But worse, they breathe as though there’s something SERIOUSLY stuck behind their noses.
They’re the perfect candidate for Little Dog Syndrome, although I’ve not come across an aggressive one yet. (Heck, I think even I’D have “little dog syndrome” if stuck with those quirks 24/7! LOL.) But check these two out when faced with a kitten! There are LOLz to be had, peeps. There are LOLz to be had.
These two just don’t know what to do with themselves!
“What is it?”
“I don’t know!”
“I don’t know, either!”
“Go and look.”
“YOU go and look.”
“No, YOU go and look.”
“AHMAGAWD IT’S COMING! RUN!”
The kitty is confused, not knowing what their problem is – it just wants love! The poor little thing hisses and then it realises it has the upper hand! Watching as the silly puppies desperately clamber on top of each other in an effort to get away from this fearful predator!! (“The furballs are afraid of me. This could work to my advantage!”) From that point onwards, the kitty holds it’s position, looking for an exit, and keeping the dogs at bay with a hiss every now and again. (No doubt with a, “Shut up, stoopids,” likely going through its little head LOL)
